A fine mahogany, inlaid sideboard possibly Baltimore with a D-shape top, ovalo corners and a central concave drawer above a pair of doors flanked by a bottle drawer and a cupboard door. The secondary woods are southern yellow pine and eastern white cedar. Eastern white cedar is indigenous to the eastern United States from New Jersey through North Carolina.The middle drawer is inscribed ” Made for Capt. John Hamilton 1803 “.
